- Establish limits for specific applications
- Create limits for app categories
- Apply restrictions through Apple’s Screen Time API
- Review screen time statistics and insights
The Services rely on Apple’s Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings frameworks.
Functionality may vary depending on iOS version and Apple’s platform limitations.
3. Required Permissions
Certain features require authorization through Apple’s Screen Time permission system.
You acknowledge that:
- Revoking permissions may limit functionality
- The Services can only operate within the capabilities provided by Apple
- Some restrictions may cease functioning if permissions are removed or altered
You remain responsible for maintaining the permissions necessary for desired functionality.
4. No Guarantee of Restriction Effectiveness
While we strive to provide reliable screen time management tools, we do not guarantee that:
- All restrictions will operate continuously
- Device usage data will always be accurate
- All usage limits will be enforced without interruption
- Users will be prevented from bypassing restrictions
The Services are intended as behavioral support tools and not as absolute enforcement mechanisms.
5. Not Medical or Psychological Advice
The Services are intended solely to support digital wellbeing and healthier technology habits.
The Services do not provide:
- Medical advice
- Psychological treatment
- Addiction treatment
- Professional counseling services
Users seeking professional assistance regarding compulsive technology use should consult qualified healthcare providers.
6. Accounts and Subscriptions
Some features may require an account or paid subscription.
Subscriptions:
- Automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal
- Are managed through your Apple ID App Store account
- Are subject to Apple’s billing terms
Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services in violation of applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer the Services
- Circumvent technical protections within the app
- Interfere with the operation of the Services
- Misrepresent your identity
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

- Uninterrupted availability
- Accuracy of usage statistics
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScreenFree shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data
- Missed restrictions or notifications
- Inaccurate screen time reporting
- Productivity losses
- Decisions made based on app insights
Our total liability arising from the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Services during the preceding 12 months.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if:
- You violate these Terms
- Misuse is suspected
- Continued operation becomes unlawful or impractical
You may stop using the Services at any time.
13. Modifications
We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time.
Continued use following the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
Except for disputes that can be brought in small claims court, all disputes between you and us, including any dispute regarding this Agreement, shall be exclusively settled through binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) pursuant to the AAA’s then-current rules for commercial arbitration. Any such arbitration proceeding will be conducted solely in English.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware without regard to conflict of law principles. If the arbitration in this section provision is found unenforceable or not to apply for a given dispute, then the proceeding must be brought exclusively in a court of Delaware jurisdiction.
